John Hansen Artist Artwork - Young Girl with a Bird

This older artwork felt in need of a rework. In art school, I learned a valuable lesson: there are numerous compositional possibilities, not just one. The resulting changes significantly improved the painting, I believe. The work now boasts striking contrasts in subject matter, colors, and light values, effectively drawing focus to the girl's luminous face.
