The selection of artworks here stylistically represent subjects, the figure and the still life, that remain a consistent theme over my career as a visual artist. I prefer working with oil paint as it suits my personal sensibility for developing colour and atmosphere within my artworks. Although one may sense a subtle and very detailed approach here, the paint is manipulated not only to be realistic in rendering, but also to convey a sense of beauty along with other abstract qualities affordable to this medium.
